A quick word about our MDPE Pontoons-
No one shares my enthusiasm for foam-filled MDPE pontoons more than I do. They are the ultimate solution for workboats! MDPE, or Medium Density Polyethylene, is virtually indestructible. It defies sinking and remains impervious to the hazards of rocks and jagged shorelines. Maintenance is virtually nonexistent. What's more, MDPE boasts a carbon footprint five times lower than that of aluminum.
Traditional aluminum pontoons are prone to damage, as are fiberglass pontoons. A single encounter with a rock or a scrape against a jagged shoreline can spell disaster. Not so with MDPE. This material stands apart for pontoon construction, being both lightweight (even lighter than water), and durable (readily recyclable). Its inert nature means it remains unaffected by acids, rendering it truly indestructible.
